I am a pretty green user of Linux and I like the idea behind open source. It is refreshing to work with truly free software. Being able to own the rights to the software I am using, as in the right to change or sell or use software as I see fit is a concept that is inspiring and empowering.
Anyway I am just beginning to explore all the awesome things the GNU free software licence has to offer. I would appreciate any pointers on getting a good start with linux and Free software.
By the way I use Suse Linux 9.3 pro edition. Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction.
