Ubuntu Linux Newbie saying hello!

Hello all, my name is Mike (nickname Inferno) and I regrettably have been neglecting Linux for many years. I have recently started to get into more command based things and decided - I hate Windows . So here I am to learn and share. I hope you all accept my Linux newbie ways and maybe I can find a way to offer help here as well. Who knew Ubuntu releasing 8.04 would be the booster needed to finally install Linux.

Thanks!

-Mike

Welcome! I'm still on 7.10 for my desktop (waiting for the servers to quit smoking a little before rolling up to 8.04). Glad to see a new face!
Just remember, it may look difficult (and very well may be at times), but there is always an answer.
