Thumbs up taptaptap is this thing on?

Hi, everyone - wiz here.

Longtime Linux user; although I work in Windows (critical incident manager for a major midwestern gas and electric company) I quit running Windows at home about seven years ago except for occasionally having to fire up the Win7 VM on my laptop to do stuff that can't be done in Linux yet like read Visio drawings in their native format.

Started out with a distribution called Yggdrasil more years ago than I care to remember, then ran slack, Redhat, Fedora through Core 5, Debian, ran Kubuntu for awhile and then back to Debian.

Currently running Jessie + fluxbox on my laptop; I also have an old HP netbook running Jessie from a command line, although fluxbox is installed on that machine as well. the netbook manages my backups and performs duties as a DLNA server, feeding two WD TV Live boxes in the house.

Anyway, nicetameetcha.

cheers -
