Serious Frustrated

Hello folks. I'm here because I'm frustrated both sexually and with some things I'm working with on a Linux box. I know there are a lot of good folks here and hope to try and get myself to the next level. I've had about 5 years plus experience with Linux but it's all been cursory. I can harden a Linux box to some degree and can install Linux and run some things. I've set up nmap, nessus and a few other things on a Linux box, including Sleuthkit and Autospy as well as a few sniffers. Most of what I've done is dealing with security and not so much practical. So when it comes to practical I'm not very practical.

thanks in advance to anyone who steps up to help me with problems I might run into with my Linux box. And thanks to anyone (female) who might step up and help me with the first problem. <grin>

Frank

Welcome to LQ You'll need to deal with the first problem off the boards I'm afraid, but we can certainly help with the rest
