Question

@booduklee - another rookie (jokes) welcome. i am now running 2 Virtual Desktops one of SUSE 11.1 & Ubuntu 10.4 i want to get a feel for the basic functions before i go "HardCore Admin"

In my findings:

SUSE networking on HSDPA is much better than Ubuntu on HSDPA
UBuntu Media Centers (from random FORUMS) are more dynamic

@Anisha & Larry:
i want to configure a Media Center to integrate between the following:
XBOX 360
Windows Vista & 7
SUSE 11.1 & Ubuntu

Would you recommend running off my SUSE or UBUNTU Desktops?
Between XBMC & MCE which would be the better option?

I would recommend you to start a new thread here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-newbie-8/ with a decent title of course.
All new questions should be in new threads.

Just joined

I just joined because I am new to linux. Currently I am taking the Red Hat admin course and found this site when looking for info on setting up a repository on my Virtual Box linux installation.
