Say hello and stop the haven't posted nag.

Hi,
I've been using Redhat 9 for a number of years as a lan website development server. A couple of months ago I moved some stuff around resulting in an inability to run the system. I'm now running Fedora 9, and learning much more. I'd like to get off windows, but I'm adicted to WordPerfect and QuatroPro. The rest of my time is spent learning and teaching ballroom dances and writing some philosophy articles on general semantics. me: http://www.xenodochy.org/ralph.html

Hi and welcome to LQ, nothing wrong with the dual boot option. I have the option but have not used the other os for a while.

Hi Larry,
I don't have dual boot machines. Each machine has a different os, 98SE, 2000, XP, Linux, but my Linux machine does have multiple versions. Unfortunately my old Redhat 9 version no longer boots, and I don't like Fedora 10's changing the X window from tty-7 to tty-1, so I'm sticking with Fedora 9. I wish I could run WordPerfect under Linux.
Thanks for the welcome.
