Please dont hit me because I am new

Just to say hi. I am attempting to have a go at Linux after many years pretty much only using DOS and various versions of windows... Any help/constructive critcisims will not be taken to unkindly!

I hope I dont piss to many people off in my quest to more or less get things working (with my computer) and figuring out where I am supposed to post what and where I am not supposed to post what

appie...

This looks REALLY bad. There is a reason for the url bit, to keep you from spamming the boards like you just did. What's worse is you chose to hijack someone else's thread for this :tsk: Obviously a "Please refrain from doing so in the future" is moot. So please instead become very familiar with the Rules as to not break too many of them

Thank You!

And jimdaworm:
We invite newbies. Not too many people despise them here as this is after all "Where Newbies come for help"
Feel free to ask around.

Cool
