People hi :)

Just stopping in to say hi . Been a lurker for far too long hehe. Figured that since this was THE one stop shopping for all my linux needs I should make it official.

Currently running Debian Sarge, considering a switch to Ubuntu, but not close to a decision yet (to x.org or not to x.org lol). In the process of installing Ubuntu on an AMD64 machine here. Have ran a good selection of the "big gun" distros over the years, started with Slack wayyyy back when.. it was at version 2, did a bit of RH, then Caldera, Mandrake, Suse (live cd, just browsing the distro), Knoppix and now Debian. I can say it feels real good to get away from rpm based distros .
