Smile Open source project guy trying to find some code savvy linux users

Hey guys :-) I'm Martin, a 22 yo student of modern history and political sciences from Dresden, Germany.

I've registered here as I'm part of an open source 2D RPG engine project and I'm trying to find some coding / open source enthuasiasts here to support us with our project.

I have to admit that I'm currently on win32 again after having tried Gentoo 2005.2 for about 6 months. I'm the kind of guy who likes to test the newest features so I did update my system very often. But the compile times nearly killed me; considering my PC is not that old (AMD Athlon 64 3000) it took about 12 hours to compile KDE :-/

So back on Windows XP I try to show that you can be an open source enthuasiast despite still working on Windows. As soon as I have the time (I'm pretty busy with university ATM) I'll try to test another linux distro that is more suited for me. ATM it looks like Kubuntu would suit me :-)
