Old HPUX System Admin.

I worked in IT for over 23 years and saw the first Personal Computers when they just had one (or if you where lucky) 2 Floppy disk drives.
About 10 (maybe more) years before I retired our shop started getting into turn key systems and the first one ran on HPUX. I saw that the mainframe that I loved was soon going to be replaced by these smaller systems so I started working on and learning all I could about UNIX.
Soon my beloved mainframe was shut down and rolled out the door and I moved from being an IBM VM/VSE system admin to HPUX system admin and part time DBA. I now have an old laptop computer that I am going to install LINUX on (not sure what flavor yet) so I will be posting lots of questions here as I will need all the help I can get.
Here is looking forward to a long and happy relationship with the LQ community.
