Old Dawg, long time lurker

Hello, I have been lurking around hereabouts for several years now. Recently retired and now find that I have plenty of time on my hands to learn some new tricks. I've worked/played with Linux for many years. First experience was installing Peanut Linux on an old 486 notebook and learning CLI operations back in the early 90's. Haven't done a lot with Linux since then. Occasional installs on old equipment and then breaking things in order to fix 'em and learn more.

I'm not likely to be a frequent poster, but I do recognize that this is one of the places that I'd likely suggest to others as a resource other than the distro forums.

Woof! Woof! as opposed to Arf! Arf!
I'm currently "resurecting" a pair of 18 year old Compaq PIII Deskpro EN 812Es boxen. One is (and has been running Ubuntu 10.04 since 2010 or so) the other has AntiX 13.2 on it (with MX 14.2 as a side/dual). Got a couple of Acer Netbooks that run Mint 19+ as daily drivers.

Thanks for the response.
