Newbie introduction

Late in life and looking to finally use linux from command prompt. Want to hack/improve my DrobFS and master rsync/ssh/vi and what other tools I need along the way.

Pretty intimidated by sheer volume and unfamiliarity.

Just one command at a time, right?

Thanks for your posts and future responses!

The command line is always faster.

If you know the commands.<------------That's the tricky part.
