Hello friends,

Newbie to Linux here.
I have always wanted to have Linux as my first priority before any O/S. But, due to very high reliance on Windows, have never had a chance to get to know Linux very much.

What do you think is a great way to start learning Linux and preparing myself to be a professional Linux/Unix Admin.?

Your time to read this post and response is highly appreciated.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum

A couple of beginner's guides can be found here and here. But perhaps the best way is to choose a distribution and version, install it and begin to work with it. Please feel free to ask for help if you need to.

Regards...

Welcome to the forum!

The CompTIA Linux+ study book is a great resource for new Linux users who are planning to learn system administration.
