New to LQ

Hello everyone,

15 years on and off GNU/Linux user, started out with RH, but have switched to Debian and Ubuntu.

Not so experienced though, have to work with XP in my job, and have had very little time on my own machines for the last 8-10 years.

Decided to switch entirely to GNU/Linux on all my private machines, and find many tasks a lot easier than with XP, and a lot better documented.

This is also the reason I've never posted a thread before, always found some information online.

Thank you for that community.
