New Slacker
Greetings,
I'm in the SW subs of Minneapolis, currently a Coldfusion programmer, and Linux newbie.
Although I've installed Mandrake and Red Hat many years ago, and played with Knoppix and Topologilinux a few times, I've never really stuck with it.
In the past couple of weeks I've gotten Slackware 12.1 installed (dual-boot) on both my desktop and notebook, both running WiFi and WPA. This is much more Linux than I've done in the past.
I think I'm going to stick with it. Internet connection has always been a deal-breaker. Not this time around. I'd like to commit and get rid of the dual-boot altogether, but I need Windows for Visual Studio and .NET on the desktop, and the gf needs Windows on the notebook.
