New on tha scene
I am starting to get the hang of Linux. I have compiled stuff and I've got some command line knowledge. Have tried a BUNCH of different GUI's recently, in my quest for the most bada$$ system ever. After a LOT of hrs of testing, I'm bak to Gnome, where I started. It seems not only to be the most stable, but to also have the most functionality.
The thing that initially drove me to try other things was- I cannot figure out how to really manipulate GTK+ themes. I want to change the look of the panel and the windows. I tried emerald, but it locked up the system. (borders and bottons disappeared and computer locked up) |
Howdy and Welcome.
Don't know if you know about Gnome color chooser yet. It will be in Mints package manager. Quote:
