New member: Learning to use Linux

Hi,
My computing knowledge is from Windows. I would like to know how to use this new OS. Specifically, I have 2 Linux based OS. The computer is using Navigatrix and I have loaded onto the computer Xinutop via a DVD and a USB 16 G memory stick (thumb drive). My computer is a Gateway laptop MX6441.

AMD Turion 64 Mobile Technology ML-34.
1.79 GHz, 1.93 GB RAM
Cheers,
Ken

Welcome to LQ.

I must say, you are using two distros that are completely new to me. After you get comfortable, perhaps you could describe them in an LQ Blog post. (You may have to meet some kind of post threshold before you have access to an LQ Blog--I've been here too long to remember.)
