Hi Folks

My name is Ken Braun.

I am a journeyman tool maker and an electrical engineer.
I have been a Slackware user since the first Slackware release on 6 CDs from InfoMagic (I still have the disks dated 1996).

Most of my coding work has been directly in ones and zeros for a bit-slice
machine (OS, control code and low level disk formatters for the AMD-2901 and friends). This bit-slice machine was the real-time controller for a scanning electron microscope. It handled 2 axis beam scan, image acquisition, and image analysis.

I also did a bit of x86 assembly coding for a machine that was used as the user interface for the bit slice machine.

However I have never written even a single line of code in any language higher than x86 assembly.

Looking forward to participating in/on Linux Questions.
