Hi,

I'm a retirement-aged librarian working overseas in the Philippines and hoping to help a church school library save money by using Open Source software for the library. I'm looking forward to learning about Linux and hope I'm not too old to learn "new tricks."

I am sure you will get a good feedback from the community, here in LQ.
We use linux at work to manage servers, user accounts, shared folders/files, host a huge Enterprise database and all works very well, specially if you take in account the level of service which is expected from a regular business with a hundred employees....
