My 2nd attempt at a 1st post - the 1st attempt got snafued somehow
I tried posting here after signing up last night, but it must have gotten lost in the shuffle, so here's my 2nd go:
I came across this site while perusing the Calculate Linux site, Calculate 13.6 KDE being the latest Linux distro I've adopted, along with Fedora 19 beta and Ubuntu 12.04. Lately I've been spending a lot of time on sites like linuxtracker and distrowatch looking for unheard-of flavors of Linux to try out; first as live media, then onto a 10GB hard drive [no OS ever works quite the same on disk as it does on a HD], and if I like what I see, it finds a home on one of my larger drives.
I've also had a little training and experience in programming and Web design and like to putter around making little BASH shell scripts and functions.
