MWM wants to live in harmony with Linux and Windows. .OK, doesn't really have choice!


Greetings! Would love to be only a Linux guy, but my job is based on Windows. Scary, huh?

Nice to see such a cool site up for Linux peer support.

ive got the same problem i use mandrake linux at home and have to use winblows at school for homework and stuff. im taking an OSs course and we barely touch on linux, not nearly enuf but owell the battle will always rage on

here at my school in the computer classes a lot of emphasis is put on OS/2 but not much linux either

I also prefer Linux at home but use the Windows system installed at work. It doesn't bother me much as I don't mind fooling with any OS anyway.
Presenting a Linux solution at my work would generally be as useless as presenting a Windows solution to a *nix shop. I have talked them into using an old Pentium running Debian, off network, for some inventory control using VT terminals.
