Mandriva Grub Error 17
 

Hi, ths is junior programmer questioning....
How do you fix a problem when you get this message:

Grub Loading stage1.5
Grub loading, please wait...
Error 17

:scratch: .....My story goes to when I first installed Mandriva and it worked perfectly but I wanted to install more software but it didn't let me because I had run out of disk space.I asked my dad and he told me that it had to do wth partitioning and he said to download GNU Partition. But I had run out of disk space. So my dad said to re-install my new computer. and as I did my dad set up the partitions so tht there would be lots of space to install software. And as I finished installing Mandriva again, it told me to reboot...So I reboot. But now every time I try starting up Mandriva, it comes up with the error.
:cry: Can someone PLEASE help me?

boot with any live linux cd or parted magic cd
