Mad Rocket Scientist

Hello,

While I have used Unix (SunOS, Solaris 6/6/7/8, Irix 4.x, 5.x, 6.x, HPUX 9/10/11i) for over ten years, I am just setting up my first Linux box this weekend. Actually, I am building a small 4-8 node Beowulf cluster on which to run some CFD software. I am using Athlon64 3200+ Venice CPUs on the nodes, and an Athlon64 3800+ Venice on the master node. I'd like to use nVidia Nforce4 Ultra board (Asus A8N-E) for the master node, as well as the compute nodes, but my fallback is to use the VIA K8T800Pro + VT8237 chipset (Asus A8V).

Wish me luck... I'll probably be asking a LOT of questions.
