Linux purist lUser type says hello
 

Hello everybody :D

I've been using a Linux only box for about 7 months running Xandros 2.0 Deluxe,
which is nice. Tried to sort out dial up problems on an xp box for a friend recently and came to value the simplicity and intuitiveness ( User perspective) of Linux even more.

Xp is to the world of OSs, what an overweight 60 year old Dominatrix with Parkinson's Disease is to the world of prostitution, if you ask me.

Am becoming tired of the $soft attitude of Xand. What with all new and interesting software being subject to a membership fee. (Haven't actually tried installing manually YET) and want to try other distros without eviscerating my hd.

So it's time to get my flippers dirty and overcome my FotCLI. :eek:

Damn!:mad: Just burnt the coffee and covered the cooker with it.
