Greetings from Detroit! We're waiting out yet another couple of snow squalls and the Michiganders are all complaining about the weather and the road conditions. I'm originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, so I'm sorta used to much more severe Winters than the ones that I've experienced in 19 years here in Michigan.
I've been using Linux for about 20 years and Mint since Release 15 and am currently running Linux Mint 19.1 on my old but capable Linux Certified Laptop.
I will never go back to Windows, except to stay familiarized with the OS.
