Just a hello - my first visit and post
 

Hello everyone. I am new here, though I have been trying to get stuck into Linux since about RH3 but I could never make a winmodem work so had no internet access. Actually the very first I ever saw was a Unix port to 8086 which came on 10 760K 5-inch floppies, in 1984. Now I have a an install/dual boot problem and I can't yet find the right forum for it. The advice says not into General, but where? Sorry if this sounds gormless, but you were new too, once.

If you're in doubt about the right forum, you can always post in Linux - General or in Linux - Newbie. Eventually a moderator will move your thread in another forum, more relevant to your question.
