Cool Just a formal Hello

Hello Everyone,

I've been using this site on and off for the past year or two and finally decided its time to formally introduce myself.

I'm an avid Linux user and have been using Linux on and off from way back in '95. Slackware - no X. Over time I managed to get X up and running although I'd keep turning back to M$ for lack of office apps. I finally got slackware configured with ipfwadm and then ipchains sitting between my tiny home network and the internet. This was back in the day when I was in India.

Then I came across Redhat in '97 (dont remember the version) and shortly after that discovered Mandrake. In my opion, Mandrake is a really great distro, especially for non-unix people like myself. I been using mandrake ever since.

Now I have Mdk 9.2 sitting on my desktop, an ASUS A7A266 - AMD Athlon 1.3 - 256 Mb RAM - ATI All-in-wonder pro (along with WinXP, required only for the TV guide and some games). Mdk SNF running on an old P5-133, 32 Mb RAM, 2 GB HDD, as my firewall. The firewall has been *UP* since a few months now !!!

Linux Rules !!!
