Cool Its great to be on here, hoping to level up in my skills... thanks all!

Hey,

I've been using linux since 2011 or so, but I'm still pretty beginner level. The hardest thing I've done is install Drupal 8 LAMP stack while it was still in beta. I'm about to post my first question on my quest to get LineageOS going on a waterproof verizon phone, but my Linux seems to be missing a common command.

Some aspirations are learn Python, and editing folders of pictures with ImageMagick for my personal research, and contributing to Wikipedia and other archival projects.

My favorite linux programs with a GUI are ZimWiki, TreeSheets, Clementine, PyRenamer, GIMP, ImageMagick, Riot, Transmission, TaskCoach(before my .xml corrupted) and TorBrowser.

Someone please explain to me again while we cant have file and folder tagging for everything?

Hello CedarSage and welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you really like the various programs in Linux. One of my favorite programs is GIMP also.
