Hello, dear members of Linux Questions.

I've been following this website for ages now (i.e. since the first time I used Linux, couldn't log in to graphical mode, and thought I had broken my parents' computer, a bit more than 10 years ago... young and naïve, that is), and I have always felt that this is the place to find serious and comprehensive answers to any requests. Where search engines return a webpage from LQ, this is almost always a relief !

Anyways, I'm also happy to state that this introduction will not serve as a basis to ask a question, but to answer one, which is my little pride and joy.
