Hello to all,

I'm a new member to as matter of facts, I'm new to linux as well and had just installed linux onto my PC.

I am actually prompted ever since my HD died while working on in PC. I realized despite having a superior control of market windows is not exactly user-friendly as it supposed to. I hope that linux would provide a better alternative and experience. I hope LQ would steer me and would be able to help me in my venture with linux and hopefully I can learn enough for me to complete my everyday task with linux. I heard people always said that linux is horrible and is not exactly noob friendly, but guess what, I think xenophobia is not entirely based on facts... they are most of the time is exaggeration...
