Hello, everyone!
I'm not new to Linux. Been using it since 2006. Well, the first try was from a USB with Mandriva LiveCD on it if I'm not mistaken. Then, in 2007 I decided to install Linux on my HDD and the first distro was Ubuntu 7.04. It was a really great experience! The whole new universe had opened its doors for me. But after version 9.04 I switched to its more stable and mature parent - Debian.
In all these years I've tried dozens of distributions (LiveCDs, HDD installations, router firmware etc.) but I always came back to my lovely Debian. Until version 7. Well, I'm not a systemd hater, but I'd really like more freedom at choosing an init system and really hope that in the nearest future there will be an option at installation in all these modern distributions.
Now I'm looking for a fast and rolling release distro allowing more control over the system. What I liked recently are NuTyX and Void Linux.
Well, that's what I wanted to say here
Thank you, guys, and cheers!
Alexander
