Hello to all,

a short introduction: I'm professional programmer since 1986, first on main frames (no, not Big Blue), later on smaller mashines. My first contact to Linux was on thirty 3.5inch Floppy Disks with an 0.99.13 kernel in, phhew, is this long ago. As an hobby I worked with Linux since then in Perl, bash, C, PostgreSQL.

Now I'm an assumed genius - laughing is allowed - as I'm working as a sysadm for two nice Linux based 19" database servers plus as a database admin plus as a database developer for the DB on these mashines. Now please stop laughing :-)

From time to time I need some help, from time to time I'm willing to help somebody. Of course as a 3-in-1 I'm not the super expert for a certain topic.

Best regards
