Thumbs up Intro: Lurker > Member

Finally created a user account here so I can post. LQ is an excellent resource that often comes up in Google searches, though I sometimes come here first to search. Enjoy seeing the community respond and providing useful, and usually very patient answers to newbs and others looking to increase their knowledge by going hand's on.

Thanks, Larry. Yes, I'm going to endeavor to not just take the info I need but also give back as my knowledge grows. I've been an occasional Linux user with various distros for years but haven't ever been as proficient as I was with DOS or Windows flavors. It's time for that to change.

Thanks, etech3. I'm sure I'll start out listening to others input more, but I'll provide input where I can! :-) Thanks for the welcome.
