Talking I just joined today and wanted to say hey!

Ok, the subject is corny but I hope no one minds it. I already made a post to the Newbie forum so I already need help. But I enrolled in an Intro. to UNIX OS at the local JC just to see what all the fuss was about. I have been using MS stuff for much too long. Can I get a witness? Besides I am a software developing engineer so my skills definitely needed upgrading. I realize that UNIX has been around since time began, but I just dabbled in it and never really got a chance to get serious. So I am taking the big leap and going into the whole Developer/IT Admin/Web Designer thing. Who ever said you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Where do I sign up as an official card-carrying Nerd?
Yours truly, Jeff
