I am Eric, new database administrator (DBA) for a mobile telecommunications company. As the only DBA, I have to extensively extend my knowledge in Linux to enable me efficiently manage the system. I am hoping that this site will be a good resource of ideas and experiences that will be aid me in getting issues resolved.
