Howdy
I finally got around to signing up after finding a lot of help at linuxquestions.org over the past ten months, since I first started dabbling in Linux last May. I look forward to participating here.
I don't think I'm a newbie anymore--I think I've made it at least out of kindergarten to elementary school.
I'm self-hosting my website on Slackware 10.0 with Apache 2, MySql, and php on an IBM PC 300 (Pentium 300 MHz machine) and recently ported my laptop over to Slackware 10.2. The only Windows box left in my house is the one my son uses for his games.
In my other life, I do technical training and tech support for high-end Windows security (physical security, not computer security) applications.
