How to find which part of my program consume how much memory ?

Hi,

I am trying to run C++ program on linux.

My program consume a lot of memory so that
the memory is used up fast and memory swap
is very high.

I can find this by "ps" .

My program is long.

I need to find out which part of my program
consume so much memory ?

Any help is really appreciated.

Jack

Don't post the same question in multiple forums. I reported this one for deletion, since the other one is in a much better location.

Here's the other duplicate thread:
