How long does it usually take to get a question approved?

Posted my first question under Laptops forum four days ago.
Still don't see it.
Is there any link to see the questions I have submitted along with their moderation status?
I don't see anything like that either.
As far as I can tell, my question is lost and gone forever.
If it needs refinement/editing I'd be happy to fix it, but where is it?
I do consider it to be an urgent question.
The website greeting says that I have not posted yet.
Is that because it is not approved?
I don't want to post the same question more than once.
But, I have not idea if I have actually successfully submitted a question or not, yet.

I'm not a moderator of the Laptop forum, so maybe it's just that I don't have visibility to it, but I see nothing from you awaiting approval...

I've seen my posts not show up under their given forum where I posted them. However I have always found them in the recent posts section.

Same here - is my first question on LQ also in purgatory?

Me too. I've had a pending topic on Networking subforum about PPPD.

My first thread did eventually show up, and got a reply. I wonder if introducing myself in the member intro forum had anything to do with that ;^)
