Cool Hi to the world beyond my island

I've recently moved to Bornholm from Australia and from MS Win to Linux. I'm looking forward to getting to grips with a better tech experience.

Hi echidnagirl and welcome to the LQ forum.

We do hope that the change from Windows to Linux will be a smooth one. There are some learning curves up ahead do drive slowly and backup your files.

Looking forward to your participation.

Bornholm played a pivotal role in my life some time ago.
If I may ask: how long have you been living there?
What do you feel is closer - Germany, Sweden or Denmark?

It's a beautiful place.

Thanks - a few answers

Thanks for the welcome.
I've been living on Bornholm since August last year. Geographically of course Sweden is closest but at this point I feel closer to Denmark (of which Bornholm is a part, officially if not quite culturally).
