Hi there :)

I am new here

I am switching from (hopefully) windows 10 to Ubuntu 20.10. I haven't used linux in years and was really (pleasantly) surprised when I installed on my laptop.I can't believe how far desktop linux has come!

It was rather primitive many moons ago.

Welcome to LQ.

I can add my voice to the others. Desktop Linux has come a long way since I first used it 15 years ago.

My only complaint is the proliferation of the *buntu's creepy sudo fetish, which is a plague and a curse.

(Ask me nicely, and I'll tell you what I really think.)
