I am a portuguese amateur photographer an professional land surveyor. I have used Slackware for 6 years since 1999. Then bought a Mac which is too old by now.
I am coming back to good old Slack.
In the meantime I am using Ubuntu mainly to photo post-processing.
I will mainly read a lot for now, so I will put my Slack ready to go as I did back on 1999.
Looking forward to your participation in the forums. Have fun with Linux. Considering your past with Slack, I'm sure your experience will come in handy.

Thank you very much for your welcome. Just a correction, I did nor use Slackware from 1999. Used other distros, RedHat and Suse until 2001.
I met Slackware with version 8.1 and a Toshiba laptop which made me sweat a bit
Doesn't really matter how long ago it was in my opinion. Having used Slackware means you're not afraid of getting your hands dirty and results in acquiring knowledge for as far as I'm concerned.
