Smile Hi, newbie here!

Hi, I'm totally new....completely self-taught with 'puters, first got one in late '98 or early '99, had a friend come over and help set it up. He told me that Netscape was better than IE and how to use a search engine and called it a day...so my knowledge is pretty hit and miss.

Discovered Mozilla when I just couldn't stand IE any more, and have had less trouble with alpha releases than IE Service Pack 1 Now onto Linux...RH9, or so I hope. Having trouble with the Install, but I'll find the Help forum to post about that.

Nice to meet y'all!

Thanks, Arniel!
Finding this to be a very friendly forum so far...I've seen others where ppl can be downright nasty when someone asks a basic-level question. Glad to have found this!
