Hi ! new to solaris middle aged to linux


So im a Ubuntu user for two years but ati got annoiying and also I screwed a bit up DLing xubuntu then installing KDE then upgrading to beta and stuff and yeah ... as im a java Developer (only for fun nothing "serious" i thought why not get Solaris 10 Dev edition shipped free ?

So yeah here am i lonely without wireless and apt-get , lsusb ndiswrapper ,ntfs-3g and all that nice stuff ...

yeah ... but i dont know if solaris is really woth the many hours using windows ...
