Just wanted to include myself in this community... I've been going to Linux meets in Melbourne (LUV) for 5 months, got myself a laptop, made the switch with zero regrets. The people I've met have been ssssooo helpful and eager to teach so I'm clear I've made the right move. No more screaming at the computer, pulling my hair out, scrounging around to copy software, waiting patiently for security software to update, search for bugs then tell me I've got a few and need the next level of security to fix them. Pure bliss with Linux, I'm sure I even look younger with a way bigger smile on my dial... back into the swing of the internet the way it was meant to be! Hello community!
