Hi, from one of 98 today :)

-Greetings to one and all

I just signed up after lurking for a while, and was informed that 98 others have joined linuxquestions.org today.

I am a reluctant refugee from another forum which seems to have become over-run with questions about fixing the mbr.

The sum total of my Linux experience is 4 months, the firstly with RH9, now with fedora, and so far so *great*.

My semi computer-phobic wife is happily using her own "area"(ie login), designing websites (Mozilla), artwork (the GIMP) playing movies/music/vcds (Xine) not to mention the fantastically priced (free!) OpenOffice lol

Meantime I am plugging away, learning and re-experiencing a whole computer-use philosophy which takes me back to the old zx80 I had when I was young and the latest cool games and assembly tricks were published in magazines that I'd save my pocket money to buy each month.

Great stuff, Great OS
