godz; that is ok by me, am newbie too & donot know command line either
but learning and they are in those site i quoted, along with manpages also
in books published (different publishers). do not attempt to speed up learning or you will miss simple things pertinent to system administration.
am at fault to that fact, in hurry getting mdk runing overlooked noting psswd root. big mistake, ohoh me! that is why my advise is stated go slow,
methodicaly carefully, do step by step & taking notes on everything done.

hi peng...................

I'm now talking to you from my linux..............WHOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
damm...........it took me a while but it works now
but hehe............i got more probs now..............hehehe
i'm working on them now..........it's about flash player..........and about firefoks.........because when i try 2 open the installer..........it tells me it's a executable(don't know if i typed it right) file and because of that it can be a tread to my comp........so now it will close.............and the program will not install............you understand me?

laterz!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is what i get in my screen..........

Het bestand tar:/home/theo/Documents/downloads/firefox-0.9.3-i686-linux-gtk2+xft-installer.tar.gz/firefox-installer/firefox-installer-bin is een uitvoerbaar programma. Uit veiligheidsoverwegingen zal het niet worden gestart.
if you translate it on a translater you can read it and tell me the problem.

p.s. if you know how to fix it...........plz tell me...........

godz; congratulations with 1st & no can not translate, nor have that knowledge on those other two. sorry ! some what understand post, executable is that after you read, write command & compile it then is ready to be executed into program or driver & become part of the system. so recommend reading , researching howto do compiling, some simple programming to make linux
work your way! Its a pain but worth it makes linux
more enjoyable!
