Hi everyone! Glad to be free of windows!

Hey guys,

I ave just made the switch of great justice, and am already loving the lack of Microsoft in my life!

I have posted a problem I've got with being a newbie under the handhelds and laptops section, as I am currently trying to get Linux running smoothly on my Acer Travelmate 240. Not that I can post the url to my post here, in accordance with the anti-spam tactics of LinuxQuestions.org (fair enough). Maybe you can access it through my identity and save me from having to revert to windows due to failure!

Cheers,

jim

Hello.

If you look in the rules (http://www.linuxquestions.org/rules.php) and squint your eyes just right, you'll see list item 6 1/2: it is not allowed to make references to Zero Wing ("great justice"). If you do, all your post are belong to us!

Welcome aboard. Congratulations on freeing yourself from <strike>eternal suffering</strike> Microsoft.

Ha Ha Ha!

I didn't think ANYBODY would pick up on that. To be honest, talk of great justice has become part of my common vernacular these days, so it's not necessarily a reference...

Make your time,

jim

What you say! I get signal!

But anyways, it seems like you know what you doing, so carry on.

Make your time.

Zerowing

Is there ever going to come a time in human history when quoting Zerowing ISN'T funny?

doubtful.

I am installing Kubuntu at present, I think this will work out for me... fingers crossed.

"somebody [bush?] set up us the bomb!"

Zero wing is always funny. Always. I deeply regret that I didn't use the opportunity to write "ALL YOUR DATABASE ARE BELONG TO US" on the blackboard during one particular course of mine.

Quote:
"somebody [bush?] set up us the bomb!"
Not bomb. Plane. And PATRIOT act.

Also, I think it's funny how "Saddam is evil" is a very poor cover-up for "We can't find Osama, but we don't wanna look bad to the public".

But I guess political discussions are belong to General.
