Hi
Hi, my username is Ads20000. I use Ubuntu 17.04 (on a Thinkpad T430) and FireOS (on an Amazon Fire 5th gen) and am here to engage with discussions. I've done a bit of support for Ubuntu (on AskUbuntu), done some bug management, bug filing, and ISO testing for Ubuntu, attempted to snap some applications for snappy, and help maintain the snaps in the snapcrafters repo. I hope to help Ubuntu (though I don't feel I have much time or any programming expertise) become as easy as possible to use out-of-the-box so that I can encourage more Windows and macOS friends to switch and get a free up-to-date operating system for life. I was introduced to desktop Linux by a friend and started with Lubuntu 12.04 (on an RM CL51-15, sadly the hard drive on that is now broken) before moving to Xubuntu and then full Ubuntu when I had a better computer (then was a PackardBell imedia S1710). I've stuck with Ubuntu because I think it strikes a good balance of being innovative and not trying to be Windows or macOS but still trying to make everything as easy to use out-of-the-box as possible.
