Hey.. I've got something to say..
I've joined this forum to help out the community and also ask for help too. I've been using Linux for about 5 years and it is an amazingly robust operating system. If your just starting out and getting frustrated please ask for help and give Linux a chance. Once it "clicks" you'll be surprised how easy it really seems.
My only recommendation for a newbie is to listen to the podcast that was put out by Chess Griffin called Linux Reality. The podcast had just recently ended at episode 100 on 3-28-08 but should still be available for download. He covers so many topics and explains procedures in a way that is easy to follow and direct. Check out the website at linuxreality.com nick |
