I've started using Linux on my other machine for uni work (I'm doing an IT course at UTS in Australia, so I figured I'd use it prior to classes starting so I can get a good leg-up. I know how great the community of Linux is and wish to be part of it once I become useful!

LQ is a great place with lots of smart people. i've been using linux for about five years and do pretty good. but i'm always learning new things here. so ask questions, get involved, have fun!
